Arnautovic the man of important goals: "We are Inter, we want to win. Milan? I'm thinking about Napoli"

Arnautovic's ego fills San Siro twice. The left-footed volley from 25 meters is a postcard from a bold but true past, in line with the character. In 2010, at the first training session with Werder Bremen, he showed up with designer boots: "European Champion 2009-10". For the series: "I won a Champions League, and you?". Those days ended up in a drawer.
Arnautovic has grown up and now scores goals to the max. With his latest one he sent Inter to the Coppa Italia semi-final against Milan, but his head follows the line of time and rationality: "We don't think about the Rossoneri, but about the challenge with Napoli next Saturday. We are Inter, we are strong and when we go somewhere we do it to win". Thus spoke Marko Arnautovic, the man of important goals: this year he knocked out Udinese in the Cup, Fiorentina in the league and also scratched Red Star in the Champions League. He has an average of a goal every 116 minutes: the best among the second lines of attack. Correa follows him with 229', Taremi with one every 433'. Lautaro and Thuram close with a goal every 163' and 159'.
Arnautovic wants to end on a high note. In June he will say goodbye to the Nerazzurri when his contract expires after two spells. The first went so-so, Italian champion with only three appearances and European champion with zero minutes played, but in the second he won the Scudetto of the second star as a good backup (7 goals in 34 appearances). Inzaghi trusts him and has fielded him as a starter on four occasions, twice in the Champions League and twice in the Italian Cup. And the goal was not a coincidence: "This morning we tried set pieces - the Nerazzurri coach commented after the match -, if Lazio had placed the players high up they would have come out and stayed on the markers. In the end, they did it. That's why Arnautovic was there". To score a goal worthy of a hat-trick.
